The NHS is the UK’s national health service, and its resources are currently stretched to their limits. A visit to any emergency room in the UK will quickly reveal the strain it’s under. Patients with a wide range of needs pack these spaces, all seeking urgent care.

Having worked within the healthcare system myself, I understand how stressful the process of accessing care can be.

In this illustration, I wanted to capture the chaos and tension of the waiting room with a hint of humour.
