COMMISSIONS PROCESS
Order a bespoke artwork for a special occasion, unique gift or to elevate your space.
Below is a step-by-step guide to my creative process. If you have any questions or need more information, please check visit my FAQs below or email me at info@emilykeownart.com.

Step 1:
Request Your Artwork
Before placing your order, I recommend reading through the FAQs and reviewing my creative process.
Once you're ready, complete the form below clearly, concisely and in as much detail as possible.
After submitting the form, you'll receive a payment link (for the retainer fee) and contract through email. Once your payment is processed and the contract is signed, I will confirm your order and begin your commission.

Step 2:
Review Your Thumbnails
Using the information you provide on your order form, I will complete 8 thumbnails (small rough sketches), for your review.
You will pick one thumbnail sketch that most aligns with your vision for artwork.
I will create the sketch from your chosen thumbnail, and we will move on to step 3.

Step 3:
Review Your Sketch
I will complete your sketch and email it to you for approval and revision.
This is the only point in the process where revisions can be made. I recommend focusing on changes to the content and composition of the sketch, being as detailed as possible. If you require more revisions, please visit the FAQ for further details.
Once the sketch is approved, I will move on to the colour stage.

Step 4:
Review Your Colours
I will complete 4 colour sketches and email them to you for approval.
Once you confirm your preferred colour palette I will begin the final image.
As I will be moving onto creating the final artwork, this is the stage to order more revisions or ask any questions that you may have.

Step 5:
Receive Your Artwork
Once your final artwork is completed, I will send the final invoice via e-mail. Once the invoice is paid, I will deliver your artwork through email in your chosen format, PNG, JPEG, or PDF.
Please note that no further revisions can be made at this stage.

After you have paid the retainer fee of £50 and signed the contract, you'll receive a paid invoice via e-mail as confirmation of your order.
