As a thank you to their wedding guests, this client commissioned an illustration depicting their guests at their cocktail hour. The illustration celebrates love, community and friendship.

 

Each guest receives a printed copy of the artwork, with the intention that they find themselves within it. As the illustration is both interactive and personal, it brings all the guests together in a shared experience, mirroring the cocktail hour they attended.

The most enjoyable part of the commission was the challenge of capturing each guests likeness, from their faces to their clothing.

This is a complementary piece to Springtime Love which was commissioned by the same client. ​One artwork explores the 'before' while the other explores the 'after'. Ultimately exploring the clients unification.
